5 Reasons Why Conservative Women Are Just So…Appealing

Just about every conservative news and blog outlet out there has one thing in common with all the others: comely women.  Really.  Seriously.  Watch Fox’s Outnumbered or The Five sometime, and just marvel at the women who actually look like women even if they tend to think like men more often than not.  Even we girls who could never hope to wear the three to four inch heels which are normally firmly parked on the floor where the Fox ladies sit, have to admit that there is something to these ethereal creatures that is attractive in more ways than one.

Well, The Federalist’s Henry Scanlon attempted to answer the question as he noticed that the women at CPAC and other conservative gatherings tend to be as fashionable and as attractive as French women walking down the Champs de Elysee in Paris.  His conclusions?  Conservative women are free to be themselves.  To an extent, yes.  However, there’s more to it than that.

Conservative women do not dress to impress each other.  Bear with the writer for just a moment, but have the people out there noticed the sheer number of liberal women who have super-short haircuts, wear big earrings, and suits that just don’t fit?  This is not attractive.  It is a well-known reality that women cut their hair off and into icky, ugly dos to impress other women.  Could it be that the women’s clique in the liberal world means more than it does in the conservative?  Seriously, some liberal women go out of their way to dress badly, not groom their nails, and wear as little make-up as possible if at all.  It certainly can’t be to get men’s attention.  (Okay, this writer does know a number of lib women who go in for a pedi once a month, but living in the Land of the Moonbats, those women go out of their way not to help themselves.)

Conservative women believe in the golden rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.  Aside from making an effort to make oneself presentable at all times and at least be clean, conservative women do not treat other people like dirt.  We do not insult other people’s intelligence and we certainly do not push our viewpoints on others…at least not any more than necessary to correct wrong impressions, and sometimes not even then.  How people live is their own business.  We conservative women respect that.

Conservative women respect, and believe in themselves.  Part of the presentation issue, at least as far as grooming and dressing properly for one’s body type, issues and situations (big boobs, hips, pooch, etc.), is self-respect, and putting the best foot forward.  Conservative women tend to think more of themselves and are realistic about their abilities, and that is reflected in the problem solving and care one takes in public appearance.  (At home, we are just as big of slobs as everyone else.)

Conservative women are generally happy.  (Hence, the willingness to smile.) There are exceptions to this, always, but for the most part, even if we have been rejected for one reason or another, we do not consider ourselves victims of society other than victims of feminist women who poison the well for the rest of us.  We are not, as a rule, men bashers or prone to blaming others for our problems.  We do, however, tend to be a bit bossy inside the home.

Conservative women tend to leave their troubles to God.  Maybe it’s just being Catholic, and the encouragement we get to present our troubles to the Almightly and ask for help, but as Christians, there is always help available from our beloved higher power.  As a result, as Melissa Francis, Fox babe and a church-goer, put it, all the crap just doesn’t matter.  That is something not all liberal women do.  Some liberal women are just as religious, but most of them bow at the altar of money and other vices.

So, is the answer to why conservative women are so appealing all the grooming and high heels, or is the the self-confidence born of the freedom to be ourselves.  We may never know.  But, really, does it matter?  We women are supposed to be mysterious creatures.  Maybe we should just leave it at that.
